This mansion/traditional guesthouse is known as "Archontiko Parisi”. It is is a stone-built, decorated building, constructed in 1834 by a man called “Parisis”, a man who had emigrated to Italy, where he made his fortune before returning to his home town of Lafkos. The current owners skill-fully restored the mansion in 1997, while at the same time, converting it to a contemporary guesthouse. The works are done with great attention to detail, while keeping as much as possible the original style. The mansion consists of nine en-suite double-bed rooms plus one suite. While following the traditional architecture of Pelion, it provides the guests with all of the modern amenities. With its finest decoration, it brings memories of the past and at the same time it offers unique relaxation and calm overlooking the gulf with its small islands. During 2003, the original annex was carefully restored, extending the capacity of the guesthouse by two more double en-suite rooms on the top floor and the breakfast area on the ground floor. The charming courtyard with amazing sea and sunset views is an ideal location for events such as weddings, music recitals, etc. The mansion is for sale fully furnished. |
